Well the event is called "Summerfaire '07 World Peace Concert", it will feature pop musical stars such as Stephen Wesley of Las Vegas, Abigail's Attic from San Diego and we are hoping to have Uncle Cracker from Michigan show also. Other performers are planned to appear as well. The main theme is obviously world peace, the purpose is to create a larger awareness of the necessity to achieve this goal and support the efforts to that end. SummerFaire '07 is taking place on this coming July 7th . The gates open at 3pm and the concert ends at around 10pm that evening. Ticket sales are through Ticketmaster and are general admission selling for $24, and $30 at the gate. There will be various vendors on site as well as concession refreshments. This will be a high energy, non-stop performance! It will be an evening well spent for entertainment and supporting a worth while cause! UPDATE: From the concert promoter: "I have an update; I have changed the venue from the Victorville fairgrounds to the Maverick Stadium in Adelanto, also ticket prices come down to $19 for g.a.. Will be getting first run of promo photos taken on Tuesday, 15th May 2007, for use in press kits, and new dedicated website. Also, receiving quotations from local recording studios, for re-recording and mastering tracks digitally, to master the CD. Last, but not least, receiving favorable responses from some of the record labels I've contacted thus far - progress! :D

May 9, 2007: Have submitted all songs for copyright and publication, commiting to photographer for promo photos for press kit today, have submitted demos to well over 200 indie record labels thus far. Have also contacted local pro digital music studios for quotations on studio time, to master tracks for a CD release late this year, or early next year. If I am not signed, I will release the CD independently on Guardian Angel Records, and post the CD for sale on my own website(s), cdbaby.com, etc.!

April 24, 2007: Created this website! April 1, 2007: New music has been on hiatus for a while, but just wrote and recorded a new acoustic track called "The Light Breaks Over Me," and working on another called, "All I'll Ever Need Is You," both of which were written as I travelled abroad in the EU, living out of a suitcase, with an acoustic guitar strapped to my back: http://www.hellolosangeles.com/music/Ankh.Cfm When I return to Los Angeles, will be re-recording these in my home studio, and heading off to a local pro studio, to master all of the tracks for a CD, to be posted here: http://www.cdbaby.com September 1, 2006: Created this website - currently working on pro demos for Universal Music... tentatively referring to this as The Ankh Project. Concentrating on a pop-rock format, although with some progressive rock, and symphonic metal elements. November 16, 2006: Posted my first 3 demos for my upcoming album, "Better Late Than Never," including a lead guitar rampage! Keep in mind that these are just scratch tracks... ideas... works in progress, to see if they have potential for future development. November 29, 2006: New versions of "Little Princess" and "Watching Over You" posted, and lyrics for all songs have been uploaded. December 20, 2006: More polished, produced versions of all tracks uploaded! More to come! January 16, 2006: Added *NEW* song, "Quest 4 Power," my most ambitious track to date, about war, and how it is motivated by greed and power.
