"Cat Bowen is an acoustic pop singer/songwriter from the East Midlands. Using piano, vocals and guitar Cat writes the catchy tunes that people instantly relate to. She has recently added some new acoustic sounds to her songs and will be starting gigging again soon .
At the end of October 2006 Cat is recording with producer Jorden Milnes to re-record her great song 'Hit the Ground Running' plus 2 new tracks. Cat has been writing songs for 13 years and teaches music. She has played as a musician in orchestras and bands since her early teenage years. She teaches the flute, piano and singing as part of her own music school. In the summer holidays she runs a music school for ages 8 - 16 which involves a whole range of musical activities.
Amongst all this she is now recieving great attention as a solo artist. Cat has already been booked to headline the National Womens Day for the Derby Womens Centre in March 2007. She is also coming over to Jersey in 2007 to take part in the the EDM Summer Concert.
